Dr. Elizabeth Mburu

Dr. Elizabeth Mburu was the first woman to gain a PhD from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, North Carolina, USA. She is Associate Professor of New Testament and Greek at Pan-Africa Christian University in Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Mburu serves on the editorial teams of the Africa Bible Commentary and theĀ Africa Society for Evangelical Theology. She is also the Africa Regional Coordinator for Langham Literature. Her books include African Hermeneutics and Qumran and the Origins of Johannine Language and Symbolism.

She is married to Caxton and they have three adult children.
