Dr. John Boyles

Dr. John H. Boyles is Associate Professor of Bible at Abilene Christian University. He and his wife, Lauren, enjoy being parents to their three year-old Guy. John’s interests span ancient Mediterranean social history, biblical interpretation, teaching the Bible, music, and mathematics. He has published about early church practices and organization, best practices in teaching undergraduate Bible students, and the reception of the Bible in music and film.
