Dr. Matthew A. LaPine

Dr. Matthew LaPine is the Pastor of Theological Development at Cornerstone Church of Ames. He holds a PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL) under Kevin Vanhoozer. He writes on theology, emotion, and mental health.

The Logic of the Body: Retrieving Theological Psychology was published with Lexham Press (2020).  Christianity Today named The Logic of the Body a finalist for 2021 “Theology & Ethics” book of the year.
